Global marine and fire safety equipment manufacturer VIKING Life-Saving
Equipment has announced the expansion of its global fire servicing network with a
new marine fire service division in the United Kingdom.
The new division will offer certified servicing of marine fire equipment for
marine ships and offshore fixed rigs, including fixedprice VIKING Shipowner
Agreements especially tailored for marine fire servicing.
VIKING UK’s managing director Mark Harriman welcomes the addition of
the new fire division, which he sees as further strengthening the company’s
commitment to customer service. “The new division is a perfect complement to
our existing business offerings. It also strengthens VIKING’s positioning
as safety experts, expanding our dedicated global network of safety solutions and
furthering our overriding objective of saving
and protecting human lives all over the world. We’ve been lucky to
get hold of three highly experienced technicians with more than 50
collective years of experience in fire servicing. And they’ve been
equipped with all the necessary tools, spare parts, product stock
and updated service bulletins needed to ensure high standards of
service. So we’re hitting the ground running from the first of
November.”
Today, VIKING is represented in offices at Aberdeen, Gt.
Yarmouth, Liverpool, and Southampton. Marine Fire Servicing will
be offered from all locations with the exception of Aberdeen.
