12 May 2016 Dry Bulk | Engineering & Equipment Tenova is pleased to announce the successful demerger of its EPCM business operations known as Bateman Projects, based in South Africa. As communicated in October 2015 (see press release attached) the swiss-based SGS acquired these assets from Tenova. Tenova will further develop its activities in the Mining and Minerals industry by focusing on the equipment and process technology sector through Takraf and Delkor, both worldwide recognized partners for the industry with strong market positions. Bateman Projects specializes in providing process plant design and engineering, project management and commissioning and optimizations services for mineral processing plants and over a variety of minerals including gold, iron ore, copper, uranium and coal. The Bateman Modular Process Plant business and expertise formed part of the transaction.
