Successful VIGAN’s commissioning of 2 NIV600tph shipunloaders at Transnet Port Terminal

Once again Transnet Port Terminal (South Africa) decided to continue to trust VIGAN Engineering’s shipunloaders!

After using two NIV300tph shipunloaders for more than 20 years, Transnet decided to double their capacity to cope with the increase in their activities.

The process started during the Covid crisis and the relationship of trust between the two parties was strong enough to, despite travel restrictions, manage the project together efficiently and successfully from a distance.

With this new VIGAN shipunloaders, Transnet reinforces its leading role in the grain unloading in South Africa.
