The average number of vessels waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports has fallen from around 30 to 28. Of the total tonnage loaded, the port of Santos accounted for 38%, with sugar handled at two terminals: Cosan and Copersucar. Paranagua´ accounted for a further 29%.
