In May 2011 Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry, awarded Bedeschi a contract to supply one BEL F 160/19 clay reclaimer.
The reclaimer will be delivered to Tabligbo, which is about 80km north- east of Lome´ port of Togo.
Scantogo — a member of the Heidelberger Cement Group — will build a new greenfield clinker production plant at Togo. The company intends to set up a capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day for clinker. It will set up all the necessary associated equipment and auxiliaries, except for the power plant, with the plant battery limit located nearTabligbo,The Republic ofTogo.
Local conditions that influenced the choice of equipment are described as follows:
y altitude of mainland plant: approximately 30 metres above sea level; y altitude of seaside plant: varies, is approximately 5 metres above sea level; y seismic load: Zone 1 based on Uniform Building Code (1997);
y soil bearing: Bedeschi offer is based on 14 tonnes/m2 SBC; y maximum temperature: 40°C; y minimum temperature: 10°C; y relative humidity (average): 76%;
y rainfall (annual total): 1,145mm; y wind velocity (maximum): 30m/sec; and y prevailing wind direction: south west
Bedeschi will supply one BEL F clay reclaimer. The storage volume is 4,000 tonnes with a very high humidity of 35%. The reclaiming capacity of the reclaimers will be infinitely adjustable between 10% and nominal rate according to CCR demand.
Reclaiming capacity is 100tph (tonnes per hour) dry. This is the seventh contract signed between Sinoma Group and Bedeschi in last three years, and it is a further proof of the
reliability of experience gained by Bedeschi in material handling, especially on handling of sticky materials.
