Tuapse Commercial Seaport has inaugurated a 2.4 million ton capacity grain terminal, which is now the largest in southern Russia. Grain shipped in by rail widens can be cleaned and sorted. Storage capacity of 102,000 tonnes is available and daily throughput in the region of 5,000 tonnes. Total investment amounted to $60 million. Along with Novorossiysk, the new facility at Tuapse should help Russia considerably increase the amount of grain it exports via the Black Sea.
