IMGS Group has done it again! The IMGS team was racing against time this month with one of its projects in East Africa. They needed to discharge a large amount of bulk wheat cargo from a fleet of silo trucks that was then to be bagged at an IMGS Terminal, and then distribute it throughout the region!

A scarcity of bulk cargo trucks could have slowed them down, but the IMGS team was quick to come up with solutions and, together with a local partner, used bulk tank silo trucks to keep the waiting vessel discharging at a quick speed to avoid demurrage.

However, the real challenge arose when they had to unload the cargo from the bulk thanks to a mobile bagging machine. But, with their expertise and quick thinking, the team had one of their fleet of Portable Ship Unloading machines delivered to the site, which has a handling capacity of more than 100 tons per hour.

Thanks to their innovative approach, IMGS Group was back on track with their operations, showing that they are well-equipped to handle any challenges that come their way during any kind of operation.
