Examples of measures set up by HAROPA - Port of Le Havre:
In 2014, HAROPA- Port of Le Havre and ports in the Seine Bay initiated a collaborative approach within the scope of the “SAFE SECA” project, the purpose of which was to contribute to develop the use of alternative and competitive marine fuels in full safety. The ports along the Seine corridor and in the Seine Bay have become the first French ports to provide specific regulations for LNG refuelling drawn up upon the basis of a survey on hazards. This is within this scope that the AIDAPrima cruise ship has been refuelling since 2016 in LNG during its weekly calls at Le Havre.
