A two million tonne-capacity grain terminal at the Russian Port of Tuapse has commenced operations.  The facility is accepting consignments of grain for export shipped in by rail as part of a trial opening in the last quarter of 2009.  It has storage capacity of 102,000 tonnes, a wagon unloading station, purification tower and a deep water berth that can accommodate vessels of 55,000dwt.
