Quality
& satisfaction
Capt. Dan Hjalmarsson, GAC's Group Vice President -
Middle East, says: “This Award underlines once again that service quality and
customer satisfaction remain the true yardsticks of excellence in the shipping
and logistics business.
“GAC’s reputation is built on its operational
efficiency and commitment to providing personalized, differentiated service to
customers. Our commitment to delivering a superior customer experience
underpins everything we do at GAC, and we constantly strive to innovate and
improve in order to keep pace with changing customer requirements.
“That strong foundation has enabled GAC to remain
resilient despite the challenging economic environment. The company has
continued to grow, and is well-positioned to capitalise on new
opportunities.”
Lars Bergstrom, Group Vice President - Indian
Subcontinent adds: “It is enormously encouraging to receive this recognition
from the industries we serve. Our logistics business in the Indian Subcontinent
has been expanding, particularly in India and Sri Lanka, and this award drives
us to strive for further growth in the coming year.”
Global
Values
GAC’s “Vision Y – Global Values” strategy, which
builds on the growth momentum created over the past few years while adding an
important values component, is key to maintaining growth and market reputation.
“Our guiding values at GAC reach beyond cultural
and geographical differences and add a strong human element to all that we do,”
says Hjalmarsson. “We will continue to expand geographically by listening to
our customers, and we believe our values will provide us with a sustainable
future where growth and ethics are intimately linked.”
