In Muscat, construction will begin either in the last quarter of this year or in the first quarter of 2014 of new cement and bitumen import terminals at the port of Duqm. Raysut Cement, which is the country's largest cement manufacture, will set up a distribution centre there, too. This will handle both bulk bagged cement. At the same time, the UAE-based Richmond Group is due to start operations at its bitumen terminal, the first of its kind in Muscat.
