RICHARDS BAY, SOUTH AFRICAThe Grindrod Terminals Richards Bay operation is a culmination
of several smaller dry bulk logistics and bulk handling operations.
The focus in the Richards Bay area is to provide an efficient and
effective import/export service for dry bulk materials. Current
major clients include commodities from industries like metals and
minerals, phosphates, coal and others. Facilities consist of four
sites situated within 8km from the port of Richards Bay quayside,
where all general and bulk cargo is handled.
MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUETerminal de Carvao de Matola which is otherwise commonly
known as the ‘Matola Coal Terminal’ or ‘TCM’ is now under the

terminal is capable of handling all dry bulk commodities, it
traditionally only handles anthracite, coal, and magnetite. The
terminal has its own exclusive berth, shiploader, stockpile area,
rail tipplers, stacker-reclaimer and conveyor handling system.
