On 25 March this year, Associated Terminals, one of the largest providers of midstream stevedoring services on the Lower
Mississippi River, christened two new barge-mounted cranes, the Ability and the Attitude on the riverfront, at Woldenberg
Park in downtown New Orleans. Once operational, the Attitude will be located by the Port of St Bernard, and the Ability by the Port of South Louisiana.
The photos above show the christening event, including a speech by Rear Admiral Mary Landry, USCG, Commander, Eight Coast Guard District, as well as the cranes on the river the day before the event.
